Day 30: Who am I?

Leaving aside for a moment that no one truly know who they are, there is no way to encapsulate an entire person in one picture. Each picture will show an aspect of who you are. However, we all define ourselves, generally, by one major part of who we are. I define myself as a teacher. Naturally I have no pictures of me teaching since I haven't gotten a teaching job yet, but here is a generic teacher picture.

Day 29: A picture that makes me smile

Day 28: Me last year and now

Well this is actually closer to two years ago now when my little Ian was born. Physically I'm mostly the same. Different hair and contacts instead of glasses. But now I am more confident and sure of myself (most of the time), I have a good job, an apartment and a much larger support system than I had then. So while life is not great at the moment, it is not nearly the worst it has ever been.

Day 27: Something I am afraid of

While I find the ocean and other large bodies of water very beautiful, any water that I cannot see the bottom of I am afraid to be in. I do okay in pools and I actually can swim. But take me to a lake or the ocean and I probably will not go in over my waist and maybe not at all.

Day 26: Something that means a lot to me

My memories of college and the wonderful friends I made while there are very important to me. This one memory was with Loretta and Chantalle and it was my first trip to Chuck E. Cheese's. Of course I was 21 at the time, but going with them made it fun. And Loretta's little sister's loved it too. Can't say I loved the boat trip back to the island, but it was worth it.

Day 25: Me and a family member

This picture was taken at my sister's baby shower. From left to right is my cousin Holly who is five years older than me and was visibly pregnant at the time, my cousin Brittany who is four years younger than me and thankfully not pregnant, and me with longer hair.

Day 24: A picture of me as a child

From left to right you have me, my memere, and Erica. Judging by the lack of glasses I would say 3. But I seem older than that so I was probably just not wearing them. Notice the blonde hair. It will not be making a comeback.

Day 23: Something I crave a lot

Yup...I love chocolate. Good thing that it is good for your heart and prevents some types of cancer.

Day 22: A picture that confuses me

It's not that I have anything against Picasso, I like the colors and all, but I just don't get it. My brain looks at it and wonders if he was looking at the canvas as he painted.

Day 21: Something that makes me happy

Being in college and hanging out with friends in book stores. Nothing can be simpler than that.

Day 20: Somewhere I'd love to travel

I'd love to go to Ireland. It's full of rich history and beautiful country.

Day 19: Someone I miss

Erica hasn't talked to me in months...I miss my sister.

Day 18: My biggest insecurity

I worry at times that I will end up alone, have no family, no one to share my life with. What are all the accomplishments in the world if there is no one to share your happiness?
